As we join the rest of the world to celebrate World Cancer Day today, here are a few tips that can help reduce the risk of having any type of Cancer.

1) Avoid Smoking: smoking has been linked to various types of cancer including cancer of the lungs, mouth, throat and kidney. Staying away from smoking is an important step in preventing cancer. If you need help on how to stop smoking you can contact your doctor for STOP SMOKING PRODUCTS

2) Eat a healthy diet: Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables such as whole grains and beans. Also, avoid eating processed meat as it is highly cancerous.

3) Maintain a healthy weight: Maintaining a healthy weight can help reduce certain types of cancer. Strive to get at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activities or 75 minutes a week of vigorous activities.

4) Practice safe sex: Another way of preventing cancer is avoiding unprotected sex that might lead to infection and thus increase the risk of cancer.  

5) Regular medical check-ups: Regular screening for various types of cancer can increase your chances of discovering cancer early when the treatment is most likely to be successful.
With these simple lifestyle changes, you can make a difference by helping yourself and people around you to eradicate Cancer. #IAmAndIWill.
